About
Franco Robert is a composer and pianist from Buenos Aires. He began his musical journey at the age of 10, after becoming captivated by the soundtracks of Japanese composer Nobuo Uematsu, whose work would lay the foundations for a post-classical piano style marked by an ethereal sound and a subtly fantastical atmosphere.
During his teenage years, he toured Argentina and neighboring countries as the keyboardist of metal band Tersivel. That period broadened his musical background and gave him extensive experience on stage. Over time, he developed a parallel solo body of work centered around the piano.
Since launching his Piano Spells series in 2018, he has developed an extensive discography shaped by a calm, introspective, and melancholic sensibility.
With more than 70 million streams, his work has been featured on numerous editorial playlists across streaming platforms worldwide and broadcast by the BBC. He has also appeared on international compilations released by Sonder House, INRI CLASSIC, Andante Piano, and Bigo & Twigetti, and has collaborated with labels such as 1631 Recordings, Mellotron, and Nordic Euphony.
