About

Franco Robert is an Argentine composer and pianist from Buenos Aires. His music explores themes of melancholy and introspection through intimate contemporary piano works.

After discovering the music of legendary composer Nobuo Uematsu at an early age, he began writing music of his own. During his teenage years, he toured throughout Argentina and neighboring countries as a keyboardist in his metal band Tersivel, before eventually turning his focus toward solo piano.

Since the release of the first installment of his Piano Spells series in 2018, Franco has established a body of solo piano works characterized by lyrical melodies and a dreamlike atmosphere.

His music has been featured multiple times on editorial playlists from streaming platforms worldwide. It has been broadcast on the BBC and included on international compilations released by labels such as Sonder House, INRI CLASSIC, Andante Piano and Bigo & Twigetti. He has also collaborated with labels including 1631 Recordings, Mellotron and Nordic Euphony.
